Our Ready to Wear Single-Breasted Ventile Raincoats are a firm favourite here at Richard Anderson. Available in smart navy and traditional antique bronze, these coats are the perfect addition to throw on over your favourite outfit. The revolutionary and water-resistant Ventile® fabric was developed by scientists at the Shirley Institute in Manchester to protect the pilots from immediate soaking and extended their life expectancy to 20 minutes. The fabric became a staple supply for the RAF and is still used in RAF and NATO flight suits today. Our models feature a fly front with vertical welted pockets, wrist wraps and a tab and button on the collar, chain hanger, and two vertical inside pockets with zips.

To go with your raincoats, take stock also of our umbrellas! Our collection features a range of different handles of the finest woods including whangee, solid oak, malacca, maple and chestnut. Our umbrellas are created for us by Fox Umbrella’s of London, masters of their craft since 1868 and famed for pioneering the stainless steel mechanism and frame to replace the traditional whalebone, thus making a lighter but stronger “brolly”.
The 9ct gold collars bearing our name can be personalised with your initials for a small extra charge.
