The prestigious Golden Shears Awards took place last month with our very own Thomas picking up first prize. The Golden Shears is a bi- annual event which gives apprentices the opportunity to present an outfit created by themselves in front of a judging panel, notoriously made up of some of the most experienced people in the industry.
We couldn’t be more proud of all the hard work which lead to his victory. Thomas’s winning pieces were a Siren suit and Dispatch Rider’s coat; box pleats are the running theme, seen through the patch pockets, the back and the trousers fronts. The coat features an inverted pleat running through the back which opens out at the bottom and an inverted pleat can be found running through the front drunk pocket. The aubergine colour way in the overcoat picks out the check in the siren suit.
The look Thomas created is currently on display at The Service 32 Savile Row, directly across from our store at No 13, if you’re in the area stop by to see the winning pieces.
