The depth of colour in this fabric is superb. No matter what time of day, night or occasion, your suit will stand out perfectly from the rest of the crowd both in fit and in colour.
We are delighted to introduce for winter a very special Raglan overcoat in our exclusive house tweed. Our tweed is woven for us in Islay, Scotland and has become a firm favourite since we introduced it during our anniversary year. The Raglan overcoat is named after Lord Raglan, the 1st Baron Raglan who is said to have worn a coat with this style of sleeve after the loss of his arm at the Battle of Waterloo. The specially designed sleeve was invented to allow him room to use his sword in battle as it offered greater movement and freedom. Today this unique overcoat can be worn as a stylish garment for any occasion (or battle) and is proudly made in England, using fine Scottish tweed. The best of British.
Single-breasted coat with raglan sleeves, two slant welt pockets and a single vent; shown in our new house tweed – available in any heavy or medium weight tweed, could also be made in navy wool.
We have put a lot of time into creating many different garments together with this fabric, which is a testament to its durability. We have create a full suit, an Overcoat, a flat cap and even luggage items.
If you want to find out more about the Raglan fabric, it’s potential and for how it could suit you – book an appointment with Richard Anderson today and we would be delighted to tell you all about it.
